New Adventure

I am really excited because this weekend I am going to be taking engagement pictures for my friend Syleena and her fiance!  There are so many fantastic thing being done for engagement pictures and she wants to use one for her save the dates... which I am designing as well as her wedding invitations!

I've been collecting images for her to see, and I've decided to share some of the inspirations for the shoot Saturday.  Usually when I plan to blog about something and I am pulling images, I am really careful about keeping the sources and linking them... unfortunately I wasn't planning on blogging about my inspiration and was just sending her images for her to see.  So, I am really sorry I don't have sources, but if these are your images, please let me know so I can source you!

I love both of these for Save the Dates.  I think they are adorable!  Especially the first one!

Family and Fur Header

Heather over at Family and Fur was one of the bloggers that participated in my giveaway (where I did something free).  So we've been chatting back and forth ever since about her blog header.  She wanted something that was personal and about her blog, but that also grow with their increasing number of family members (Heather is pregnant!)

So she sent some pictures, and I immediately knew I wanted to incorporate paw prints.  Actually I knew it from the second she said she wanted a new header.  We talked favorite colors, etc., and this is what I came up with!

Lonny Love- Jan/Feb issue

I've made it no secret that I adore the online magazine Lonny.  First of all, there are quite possibly the most breathtaking pictures.  If it was in print, I would have the pages from the magazine torn out and framed.  The pictures are absolutely stunning.  Second, the articles are interesting and current.  They aren't interviewing the same old people.  I love love love to look at Lonny.  Although I personally didn't love the cover, the Jan/Feb issue was no disappointment!

This month, two articles (and their layouts) really struck me- "Sleeping In..." and "Pulitzer Prize."
